Cooking Instructions
10 steps
Soak black chickpeas overnight in water.
Pressure cook with water, tea bag, and salt for 6-7 whistles until tender. Discard tea bag.
Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds.
Add chopped onions and cook until golden.
Add ginger-garlic paste and green chilies, sauté for 2 minutes.
Add tomatoes and cook until soft.
Add all spice powders and cook for 2 minutes.
Add cooked kala chana with some cooking liquid.
Simmer for 15 minutes until gravy thickens.
Add garam masala and amchur, garnish with coriander and serve.
